摘要: All higher organisms consist of an ordered society individual cells that must communicate to maintain and regulate their functions. This is achieved through a complex but highly regulated network hormones, chemical mediators, chemokines other cytokines, acting as ligands for intra or extra-cellular receptors. Ligands receptors the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamilies are examples signal transducers, whose integrated actions influence development, homeostasis adaptive responses many tissue types. Apo2L/TRAIL one several members tumour superfamily induce apoptosis engagement death interacts with unusually receptor system, which in humans comprises two three decoy molecule has received considerable attention recently because finding cancer cell types sensitive Apo2L/TRAIL-induced apoptosis, while most normal appear be resistant this action Apo2L/TRAIL. In review, we specifically emphasise on respect its apoptotic signaling pathways summarise what known about physiological role. The potential therapeutic usefulness Apo2L/TRAIL, especially combination chemotherapeutic agents, also discussed some detail.
