摘要: The nervous system plays an important role in HIV infection. purpose of this review is to discuss the indications for cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis infection clinical practice. CSF indicated diagnosis opportunistic infections and co-infections, meningitis caused by HIV, quantification viral load, CNS compartmentalization. Although several biomarkers have been investigated, none are clinically applicable. capacity generate genetic diversity, association with constitutional characteristics CNS, facilitates generation quasispecies that distinct from systemic circulation. has a well-defined valuable HIV/AIDS patients. Further research necessary establish applicable biomarker HIV-associated neurocognitive disorders.
