摘要: This study evaluated the feasibility of treatment abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) by means intraluminal bypass. Artificial aneurysms with fusiform Dacron conduits were created at surgery , a weft-knit tube balloon-expandable stents attached both ends was inserted transfemorally through 14-F introducer sheath and expanded aneurysmal level inflation coaxial balloon. The transluminal bypass successfully excluded lumen immediately after placement. In two dogs, postplacement aortogram revealed torsion graft that caused early occlusion. six other dogs had patent 6 months follow-up. Four these evidence kinking as result shrinkage prosthetic aneurysm. Histopathologic studies endothelialization complete on partial surface. It is concluded AAA feasible in dog model.
