Vitamin D status in systemic lupus erythematosus patients and its association with selected clinical and laboratory parameters

摘要: Objectives: To identify relationships between vitamin D serum levels and the presence of autoantibodies directed against interleukin(IL)-17 IL-23 in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Methods: The study included 49 SLE. Serum concentrations 25(OH)D3 were measured electrochemiluminescence immunoassay (ECLIA). Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) used to determine antibodies 1,25(OH)2D3 IL-17 SLE patients. In evaluation status, control group consisted age gender matched healthy individuals, whereas assessment anti-vitamin comprised 30 sera from blood donors.
