摘要: We hypothesized that being promoted to a supervisory position leads reduction in subsequent absence spells and time lost absences, the higher level, more pronounced its negative effect on behaviour. tested our hypotheses by analysing government records of 51,974 school teachers years 2000 2001. Controlling for potential confounding variables, we found relative rank-and-file teachers, level teacher was to, year-to-year decline either or absences. As hypothesized, most positions examined, size their behaviours lower veterans than newly appointed.
