摘要: Abstract The rule of thumb in literature is that 20% biodiesel the most acceptable blend ratio alternative fuel blends. This work focuses on in-depth mathematical optimization analyses ternary blends diesel–butanol–vegetable oil (cotton oil), based engine operating parameters using RSM (response surface methodology). It critical to achieve maximum power and torque for customers while keeping emissions low enough due government regulations certifications. Thus, three studies were conducted at 2200 rpm, which corresponds brake torque, fixed a possible value emission standards, all studies. In order understand impact other ratio, as well, various combinations BTE (brake thermal efficiency), power, BSFC specific consumption) BMEP mean effective pressure) fixed, correspond Opt-1 (optimization 1) (BTE exhaust emissions), 2 (BTE, 3 BSFC, emissions). Optimization used experimentally determined performance data diesel 7 different concentrations diesel–butanol–cotton Optimum values corresponding mathematically (61.7 vol.% diesel, 34.75 vol.% butanol, 3.55 vol.% cotton Opt-2 2) (64.5 vol.% 28.7 vol.% 6.8 vol.% Opt-3 3) (65.5 vol.% 23.1 vol.% 11.4 vol.% oil). When compared BSFCs Opt-1, 2200 rpm increased 41.57, 33.87 24.53%, respectively. terms basic gas emissions, optimum decreased NO x (oxides nitrogen), CO (carbon monoxide) HC (hydrocarbon) diesel.
