摘要: Metals and alloys have played an important role in the development of society since Iron Age. The materials employed industrial revolution do not exist nature. Because their inherent value, recycling has long been a part life cycle for metallic objects. Most common use are based on iron, which can quickly revert back to more stable but less useful compounds through process corrosion. Preventing this corrosion, whether by means coatings, electrochemical treatments or design, offers most cost- energy-effective route sustainability.
