摘要: ABSTRACTThe net acoustic force acting on submicron particles suspended in a gas and exposed to standing wave field is investigated as function of particle size, by measuring both the aerosol number density size distribution flow-through resonator. By taking into account all contributions relevant force, this experimental study provides first estimate for radiation range where molecular effects are expected be significant. The experiment consists an electrostatic transducer generating 50–80 kHz frequency range, with concentrated at pressure antinodes located across height rectangular channel.
