摘要: Abstract Purpose Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) is an increasing cause of liver transplantation (LT) worldwide, especially in Europe and North America. In this study, we aimed to investigate the changing pattern etiologic causes LT our center for past 15 years. Materials methods A cohort 967 consecutive adult patients with history between 2004 2018 was reviewed regarding etiologies LT. All who had a transplant during time frame were divided into 3 periods as follows: 2009, 2010 2013, 2014 2018. explanted samples sent pathology establishment definitive cause. Results Chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection leading overall (37%), followed by C (HCV) (11%), alcoholic disease (9.5%). NASH accounted 7.5% cases. While HBV decreased from 44% 2009 36% 2018, increased 1.1% 9.4% transplants same period, accounting one-third following HCV. Conclusions There might be global figure etiology Turkey, NASH, which fastest growing However, topic needs evaluated large series collaborative multicenter studies Turkey.
