摘要: In 4929 consecutive autopsies performed during a period of 4 years, 222 cases (4.5%) cirrhosis were found, which 149 (3%) detected while the patients alive (diagnosed cirrhosis) and 73 (1.5%) not living (undiagnosed cirrhosis). Fifty-three undiagnosed appeared to be completely without signs (silent diagnosed group, 70% died from hepatic causes, in contrast 16% group. At autopsy, following complications found more frequently group than group: ascites (41% vs. 8%), oesophageal varices (44% 10%), splenomegaly (52% 29%). The prevalence hepatocellular carcinoma did differ significantly two groups (12% 8%). It is concluded that obvious occurs relatively frequently, no sensitive non-invasive screening methods are available at present.
