摘要: Toxoplasma gondii is a ubiquitous zoonotic pathogen belonging to apicomplexan parasites. Infection in humans and animals may cause abortion other severe symptoms under certain circumstances, leading great economical losses public health problems. T. was first discovered China 1955 the corresponding work published 1957. Since then, lot of has been done on this parasite diseases it causes. This review summarizes major progress made by Chinese scientists over last 60 years, gives our perspectives what should be near future. A wide variety diagnostic approaches were designed, including ones detect specific antibodies host sera, antigens or DNA tissue environmental samples. Further will needed translate some laboratory assays into reliable products for clinic uses.
