摘要: To the casual observer one of most interesting behavioral characteristics protozoa is their sensitivity to stimuli. At beginning this century Jennings (1906) and Mast described in detail some responses stimuli: “avoiding reaction” swimming ciliates when they bump into objects, behavior which causes flagellates collect lighted areas amoeba mechanical stimuli food particles. These observations leave no doubt that can sense events external environment therefore must contain receptor mechanisms.
