摘要: A theory is presented which explains the main spectral and spatial features observed experimentally by Chang coworkers in lasing stimulated Raman emission from micrometer-size droplets. Instead of usual plane-wave expansion this involves emitted field inside droplet spherical or spheroidal modes, taking account its strong reflection at surface whenever frequency near a Mie resonance. The amplification condition shift resonance are obtained for each such mode, whether scattering, expectation value appropriate susceptibility that mode.
