摘要: Two kinds of studies on conductance fluctuations and Coulomb blockade are reported. Conductance in mesoscopic quantum wires numerically calculated by the transfer matrix method together with Landauer formula. It is shown that have peak structures when system sizes become nearly equal to mean free paths systems due competition between increase numbers effective channels as well fluctuating domains decrease transmission probabilities. Taking into account weak localization effect electrons, we also calculate tunneling currents within lowest order for ultra-small double junctions coupled external circuits. Within processes, yields an extra temperature dependence current resulting from suppression density states.
