摘要: Sites containing aboriginal flaked stone implements have been discovered in the Queenstown area, some 30 km inland from west coast of Tasmania. The sites occur mainly on low ridge tops along East Queen River and Reservoir Creek, been exposed only after removal original cover rainforest peat around the mine area. They suggest extensive habitation by aborigines prior to the establishment now-widespread rainforest.
