摘要: In a recent paper, Thomas (1993) makes number of assertions about the human use Tasmanian southwest during late Pleistocene period and comments particularly on model behaviour ecological interaction by Cosgrove et al. (1990). using our paper as stalking-horse, rnisrepresents us specifically generally occasions. He also uses range data sources various degrees relevance accuracy in uncritical frequently misleading ways. responding to this which we believe was written contribute less an academic debate than political one, are restricted space addressing only some points with prepared take issue.
