摘要: Nausea, vomiting and anxiety related to administration of cancer chemotherapy remain significant problems. This randomized, clinical trial was undertaken evaluate the effect sedation on patient's comfort during infusion in patients with breast cancer. Forty-five were randomized into three groups: Group I--chemotherapy, control, II--midazolam+chemotherapy, III--propofol+chemotherapy. Nausea occured 87% 13% control group, while none sedated subjects had these side-effects, although 76% them experienced then previous cycles chemotherapy. Compared post-chemotherapy scores also improved addition midazolam or propofol. Eighty percent declared that they would prefer sedative-containing regimen for their further cycles. Sedation propofol may improve comfort, provide better chemotherapy-related side effects patients.
