摘要: Background Chronic pancreatitis (CP) is a rare disease in childhood. Although ERCP commonly performed children, the effect of pancreatic duct stenting therapy children with CP unknown. Objective To investigate efficacy CP. Design Retrospective analysis. Setting National referral center. Patients A total 208 hospitalized between 1988 and 2012. Interventions stenting. Main Outcome Measurements Results endoscopic and number episodes per year before after treatment. 223 procedures were 72 children. The median stent replacements was 3 (range 1-21). statistically significant decrease observed: from 1.75 to 0.23 treatment ( P Limitations analysis assessment adverse events based on medical history. Conclusion Pancreatic safe effective procedure This should be recommended especially for hereditary patients anatomic anomalies duct.
