摘要: Cortical slices of either cat or sheep ovaries were grafted under the renal capsules ovariectomized SCID mice. The grafts became vascularized and still surviving with large follicles present at autopsy up to nine months later. As developing undergo atresia during period ischaemia after ovarian grafting, those found in long-term had presumably started grow from primordial stage transplantation. Some reached a diameter 3 mm normal antrum appeared be cytologically normal, but latent for emergence antral was shorter compared grafts. Oestradiol production grafts, as indicated by vaginal cornification plasma measurements collected autopsy, not constant circulating concentrations varied among animals, sometimes far excess physiological range host. smears never presented cytological patterns like mouse oestrous cycle, ovulation occurred any These results demonstrate that xenografts mice can serve experimental models investigating follicle development species which growth vitro studies parent animal are impracticable.
