摘要: 1. The present study sought to evaluate cardiovascular adaptations, such as blood pressure (BP), heart rate (HR) and cardiac hypertrophy, resistance training (RT) in a rat model. 2. protocol consisted of four sets 10-12 repetitions the squat exercise performed at 65-75% one repetition maximum (1RM) over 4 weeks. Animals were randomly divided into three groups: control (n = 8, CO), electrically stimulated ES) trained TR; also stimulated). Blood HR measured by direct method conscious rats after period. 3. All groups began with similar 1RM 1RM/bodyweight (BW) ratio, however, end only TR group was different from beginning (56% 50%, respectively; both P < 0.01). CO ES had values for chambers weight/BW diastolic, systolic mean BP. Left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) determined left ventricle (LV) ratio increased (12%) when compared (P 0.01) or No changes found weights atrium right ventricle. Diastolic (14%) BP (13%) lower 0.05), whereas remained unchanged. 4. Collectively these results demonstrate that RT model used is associated significant development lowering resting These adaptations seem result not influenced stress since circulating catecholamine levels adrenal gland unchanged all groups.
