摘要: Alterations in the gene copy numbers of proto-oncogenes HER2/neu and c-myc primary human breast cancer investigated 73 patients. We detected amplification 17 patient samples 11, while both was seen 6 samples. There no correlation age, hormone receptor positivity or tumour size with either proto-oncogene. Amplification significantly correlated stage disease. observed 18.5% 38% node-negative node-positive patients, respectively; association between advanced disease statistically significant (p = 0.05). Since this is a prospective study, clinical significance oncogene not known. The relatively high frequency points to functional role cancer, particularly progression method used our study allows be studied conjunction determination thus may value large trials determine abnormalities cancer.
