摘要: A method and apparatus for analyzing a telecommunications network isolating failures within the first analyzes to identify all non-terminating paths between two digital cross-connect (DXC) nodes terminating that extend from one DXC node but terminate before reaching another node. All are assigned 'failure spans' or maximum spans can be restored with single restoration route. correspond end of path selected, where each has identifier preferably indicating inter-node connections path. The is compared failure span create table correlations. similar process performed do not in network. When occurs, identified corresponding alarm previously constructed table. as including if more on alarm, which off alarm. Furthermore, ports collected determine whether suffers full partial outage.
