摘要: The metropolis of Bangkok is facing serious problems with land subsidence caused by over-exploitation groundwater. Although groundwater abstraction for domestic uses has decreased considerably during the past decade, industrial purposes still very high. In consequence, hydraulic heads have declined rapidly. They reach depths below 60 m m.s.1. in most heavily pumped aquifer horizons, which are between 150 and 250 Land reached almost 2 at some places, causing flooding damage to buildings. A network benchmarks observation wells been set up since late 1970s monitor levels. maps derived from leveling measurements show precise results each point, but inaccurate areas investigation area. Interferometric SAR was tested determine whether it can be used supplement owing its higher accuracy terms areal distribution rates. It could demonstrated that interferometric contribute making monitoring more accurate than when only stations used.
