摘要: Abstract Tetraphenyl iron(III) and manganese(III) porphyrin chloride (FeTPPCl MnTPPCl) are studied by electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (ESI/MS/MS). Removal of the counter ion from these salts results in intense [FeTPP] + [MnTPP] ions that lose hydrogen peripheral phenyl rings upon multi-collision-induced dissociation (CID). Dissociation pathways probed as a function collision-offset voltage with onset measurements. Onset voltages generally higher for . While primary losses benzene, biphenyl occur concomitantly at low collision voltages, secondary higher-order voltages. Comparisons made previous measurements using surface-induced dissociation, photodissociation electron impact.
