摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter supplements the more extensive earlier experimental research on avian malaria . Two symposia have been published since review. Although these reports included work many phases of malaria, a considerable portion them dealt with malaria. In this period time most comprehensive book yet non-medical aspects appeared A review by Huff (1965) attempted to collect all results susceptibility mosquitoes up 1964. Tentative conclusions indicated—namely, (1) that genera Aedes and Armigeres reflect their systematic propinquity P. gallinaceum, (2) close relationship species P fallax, gallinaceum lophurae is indicated capability infecting Aedes, (3) similar between relictum cathemerium reflected in infectivity Culex. Previous workers shown that, regardless parasite or its host, splenectomy resulted decrease immunity, which relapse recrudescence infection. One area studies immunological hold an advantage over mammalian malarial paragites thy ease witb exoerythrocytic stages can be cultivated.
