摘要: Disseminated cytomegalovirus infection occurs predominantly in immunocompromised hosts. Involvement of the gastrointestinal tract acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is frequent, but to our knowledge there only one report involvement appendix. In this study, a patient with history who presented fever and an acute abdomen described. At surgery, appendicitis was found. surgical specimen, were Cytomegalovirus should be considered as possible cause syndrome.
