摘要: Previous studies have indicated that AKR strain mice develop hypoglycemia and thymic enlargement in association with spontaneous lymphatic leukemia. Histologic, biologic immunologic of the thymus mouse other vertebrate species shown reticular cells Hassal9s bodies secrete or store an insulin-like material. These data coupled embryological origin suggest it functions as endocrine organ. The implications these findings are discussed.
