摘要: Abstract The transport sector of a country is the backbone driving economy forward. Thailand’s land modelled using AIM/Enduse, which recursive dynamic optimization model, based on bottom-up modelling principle. travel demand divided into two major categories are passenger and freight travel. objective this paper to analyse mitigation possible through low carbon society (LCS) measures emission tax (ET). Two scenario clusters devised along with BAU case. LCS cluster has three designed scenarios LCS-L, LCS-M LCS-H. (ET) four scenarios, where taxes 50, 100, 200 500 USD/t-CO2 implemented. Along marginal abatement costs (MAC) counter-measures (CMs) co-benefits in terms energy security, productivity air pollutant also assessed. Results show that mitigating up 1230 Mt-CO2 cumulatively, from 2010 2050. In MACs, new vehicles play pivotal role, hybrid vehicles. Average Abatement Cost (AAC) assessment shows AAC LCS-H order 100 USD/t-CO2. All ET an enhancement security threefold increase productivity. There distinct pollutants as well.
