摘要: Abstract The pupal diapause in Phalaenoides glycinae is facultative, and induced when larvae are reared short days at low temperatures. By varying the stimulus especially by changing from one regime to opposite during their development it possible induce covering a wide continuous spectrum of intensity. Wounding tends intensify if already exists no matter how weakly, but superficial wounding will not put strongly non-diapausing individual into diapause. In P. caused hormone secreted suboesophageal ganglion. It suggested that intensity depends on concentration duration period target (the neurosecretory cells brain) remains vulnerable. ganglion may have function secreting diapause-inducing quite generally short-day long-day insects with facultative species obligate as well.
