摘要: Different types of rice grains imported from 11 different countries and available on the Kuwaiti retail market were collected for heavy metal analysis. The surveyed samples grouped according to their country origin into four regions namely Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America. analyzed total arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), mercury (Hg) using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). data showed that highest geometric means (GMs) As, Cd, Pb, Hg contents in respectively. concentrations compared content 5800 25 reported literature; furthermore, (total Hg) determined this study implemented calculate daily dietary intake toxic metals general population state Kuwait, while ones literature then compare 29 around world.
