摘要: Abstract Aim of the study The aim present was to investigate effects MeOH extract PL (PLME) and its fractions on angiogenesis. Materials methods PLME subsequent (methylene chloride, ethyl acetate, n-butanol aqueous fractions) were evaluated in vitro. Specifically, anti-angiogenic activities investigated by measuring their proliferation, migration, tube formation phosphorylation vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR)-2 human umbilical vein cells (HUVECs). In addition, vivo Matrigel plug model applied evaluate new vessel formation. Results results revealed that fractions, except for fraction, led significant inhibition VEGFR-2 HUVECs as well Conclusions These findings indicate potential use pathological situations involving stimulated angiogenesis, such inflammation tumor development.
