摘要: Background The diagnosis of hypersensitivity reactions (HSR) to platins is based on the characterization reaction and results skin testing. Platins can be irritants when used in testing; therefore, vitro testing may offer an alternative diagnostic tool. Objective To evaluate sensitivity specificity platin specific IgE (sIgE) patients with HSRs controls. Methods Twenty-four immediate HSR were included (carboplatin, 12; oxaliplatin, 12): 19 women 5 men (mean age, 61 years). control group 17 exposed no HSR. Skin was performed 22 patients. Carboplatin sIgE oxaliplatin measured 24 controls; carboplatin 21 Results test positive 12/12; 10/12). Seven 12 sensitive (59%) had sIgE, 2 also cisplatin all negative sIgE; 9 (75%) 8 (67%) also which they not been exposed. All controls 3 (25%) 2 sIgE. Conclusion very but less sensitive. In contrast, higher lower specificity. Analysis our data suggests that exposure more immunogenic. This could clinically relevant because sensitized able tolerate at risk cisplatin.
