摘要: Abstract A model is presented which identifies the amygdala and hippocampus with two distinct attention-directing processes. The process to contributes postulated heighten awareness of experiences as a function previous reinforcement, while acts diminish experience probability non-reinforcement. manner in these processes govern problem-solving behavior outlined, number hypotheses generated. These were tested using monkeys hippocampal amygdaloid lesions. results experiments generally agreement model, lesion groups found be from each other either group was sham-operated controls.
