摘要: Tuberculosis (TB) and HIV constitute the main burden of infectious diseases worldwide. Imprisonment is an important risk factor for contracting TB, especially among those living with HIV. This systematic review summarizes available data on prevalence TB HIV-positive prisoners; which may support improved targeted TB/HIV prevention plans. We electronically examined published studies up to December 2017 aim finding articles that investigated in prisoners. MEDLINE, SCOPUS, Embase, Web Science electronic databases were searched no restriction language or time. A random effects model was used conduct meta-analysis generate a summary estimate global subgroup estimates by continent. The included 22 from 1992 2016. In total, 2,465 retrieved papers met inclusion criteria. Eligible contained 220,101 prisoners, 1,611 cases 6,126 subjects. Globally, pooled prisoners 32.6 95% confidence interval (CI): 27.5% 38.2%; p-value heterogeneity=0.001. Results analysis continent as follows: Africa, 14% (CI: 8% 24%); North/South America, 37% 31% 44%); Asia, 35% 12% 68%); Europe, 25% 45%). CONCLUSIONS: high Screening this population essential treatment both diseases. Syndemics during past three decades have created alarming situation across world. Hence, coordinated policies are early identification effective vulnerable population.
