摘要: This study was designed to investigate whether chlorella supplementation may ameliorate oxidative stress and nuclear factor kappa B (NFkappaB) activation in peritoneal macrophages liver of C57BL/6 mice fed on an atherogenic diet. The animals were maintained diet (control), or supplemented with 3% (w/w) 5% for 12 wks. plasma hepatic lipid levels not affected by supplementation. Hepatic thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances superoxide anion production significantly lower the group (p<0.05), but glutathione level altered antioxidative enzyme activities Cu, Zn-superoxide dismutase catalase higher (p<0.05). aspartate aminotransferase activity chlorella-containing diets whereas alanine NFkappaB binding groups These results suggest that attenuate reducing reactive oxygen increasing processes, thus suppressing inflammatory mediator liver.
