摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on the structure/function correlates of cloned Angiotensin II (AT) receptors. A key step in understanding and manipulating RAS has arisen from cloning AT Polymorphisms AT-receptor genes may provide useful markers for genetic analysis patients with hypertension, and, fact, a polymorphic Mspl site was recently identified hAT1 gene. Transgenic models essential hypertension based receptors could facilitate gene function regulation vivo help elucidate involved clinical predisposition toward hypertension. In addition, role other conditions can now be examined by generation antibodies that permit tissue localization receptor quantitation.
