摘要: Abstract A modified hexagonal index guiding photonic crystal fiber made of pure silica with high birefringence and a low effective modal area is proposed, properties, including area, are numerically analyzed using the multipole method. Numerical results show that 1.362 × 10 −2 3.435 μm 2 achieved at 1.55 μm, simultaneously. Moreover, impacts hole spacing size on also investigated in detail.
