摘要: Medication and doping control has been established in horseracing to ensure the integrity of sport welfare horses. This ensures that horses do not compete under influence any drugs, including omeprazole, a therapeutic medication used treat equine gastric ulcer syndrome. In this study, pharmacokinetic data were produced plasma urine following an oral administration 4 mg/kg generic buffered formulation omeprazole six Thoroughbred five daily doses determine appropriate screening limit detection time assess whether current 72 hours would be applicable when alternative product is administered. Cmax 436 – 2432 ng/mL AUC0-tau 1476 4371 ng.hr/mL obtained for indicated, conjunction with other published studies, 500 pg/mL 48 hours. Urine analysis showed could detected up 25 above previously pg/mL, thus, indicated advice potentially reduced from allow more comprehensive treatment lesions.
