摘要: BACKGROUND: Olive oil production is an important economical activity in the Aegean region of Turkey. However, effluents olive producing mills with their high organic loads and toxic compounds are causing serious environmental problems. The anaerobic biological treatment mill wastewater (OMWW) using plants regional industries could be a method choice within scope this study floccular granular sludges were investigated batch mode for success OMWW while biogas. The major limitation inhibition methanogenic bacteria by phenolic OMWW. Thus integrated solution was suggested which pre-treatment step (dephenolization) also introduced before step. RESULTS: 27 out 47 found to have total phenolics (TP) less than 3 g L−1 treated anaerobically after simple dilution. biogas untreated higher sludge (68.5 mL 45.7 respectively). Combined experiments, first coagulation polyaluminum chloride, followed flocculation cationic polyelectrolyte finally Fenton's oxidation, remove 80% TP 95% suspended solids. CONCLUSION: having values can dilution produced. For samples necessary given may used effectively. Copyright © 2010 Society Chemical Industry
