摘要: The key element in the research of solar activities is coronal magnetic field, which however difficult to measure directly. Filament (or prominence) oscillations offer a new approach derive important information called prominence seismology. However, it vital determine oscillation mode before applying seismology since for given structure filament, two different modes oscillation, namely, longitudinal and transverse, have eigen frequencies. In low-resolution observations, hard distinguish both are associated with lateral displacements, subtle difference between becomes unresolvable. On 2013 March 15, there filament event period ∼63 minutes decay timescale ∼105 minutes, was explained literature be transverse or mixture transversal components same period. With analysis high-resolution SDO/AIA data, we reexamine event, argue that this oscillation. We tentatively propose method on how identify when observational resolution not so high. A numerical simulation also provided order match leads ratio depth width dip being 0.1.
