摘要: Background: Early c hildhood vaccinations have been hypothesized to contribute the emergence of paediatric inflammatory bowel disease [IBD] in developed countries. Using linked populationbased administrative databases, we aimed explore association between vaccination with measles-containing vaccines and risk for IBD. Methods: This w as a case-control study using University Manitoba IBD Epidemiology Database [UMIBDED]. The UMIBDED was Immunization Monitoring System [MIMS], population-based database immunizations administered Manitoba. All cases Manitoba, born after 1989 diagnosed before March 31, 2008, were included. Controls matched on basis age, sex, region residence at time diagnosis. Measles-containing received first 2 years life documented, categorized ‘None’ or ‘Complete’, completeness defined according Manitoba’s schedule. Conditional logistic regression models fitted data, adjusted physician visits area-level socioeconomic status case date. Results: A total 951 indi viduals [117 834 controls] met eligibility criteria, average age diagnosis among 11 years. proportion completed 97%, compared 94% controls. In status, no statistically significant detected measles (adjusted odds ratio [AOR]: 1.5; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.5–4.4; p = 0.419]. Conclusions: No fir st could be demonstrated this population-based study.
