Coulomb drag in coupled 2D-2D and 2D-1D cylindrical quantum wells

摘要: To study the Coulomb drag resistivity of barrier-coupled 2D-1D and 2D-2D systems as well transition behaviour between them, we suggest investigation a system which is composed couple barrier-separated cylindrical S quantum wells (CDWs) with common symmetry axis. We find that for coupled CDWs, momentum relaxation rate, tau D-1, approximately proportional to T4, while it T2 in accord characteristic rate planes. In region from D-1 Tn n reduced 4 2 gradually. addition, quite unlike approximate d(-2.4)-dependence divided by Tmax2 planes, due quantization circular motion round axis, CDWs Tmax4 d-3 times nearly periodic function d, divide d-2.4 where d distance two CDWs.
