摘要: Abstract Ternary phase diagrams of gelatin–water–methanol, gelatin–water–ethanol, and gelatin–water–propanol systems were prepared to evaluate optimal coacervation. The results their evaluation suggested that the coacervation region expands with hydrophobicity added poor solvent (methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol). Microcapsules based on differed in controlled drug release among solvents used even when concentration gelatin, a membrane component, is same. Compared microcapsules using gelatin–water–ethanol system, those system showed 34% decrease rate 24 h after initiation test. These gelatin–water–various lower alcohol can readily control be useful delivery (DDS).
