摘要: We describe a family with an inherited constitutional balanced translocation t(3;6)(p14;p11) and hematologic malignancies. Of two proven carriers, one had acute myeloid leukemia the other myelofibrosis. A third member who died of was possible carrier (chromosome analysis not been performed). Five healthy carriers were detected. Neither nor additional malignancies found outside nuclear family. It could be definitely clarified if this predisposes to Breakpoint 3p14 has previously implicated in recurrent cancer-associated rearrangements but 6p11 not. suggest that investigators look for involvement these breakpoints cancer patients.
