摘要: Vertex plates are commonly used to improve the return loss of primary-fed reflector antennas. We propose a new type vertex plate with Gaussian thickness profile that gives lower far-out sidelobes radiation pattern antenna than standard constant thickness. derive dimensions this needed cancel field at focus reflector. apply design rules (RL) hat feed, and simulate it by using computer code based on finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) technique.
