摘要: The oblique collision between the northeastern margin of Arabian platform and Iranian microcontinent has led to transpressional deformation in Zagros orogenic belt central part Alpine–Himalayan belt. Although previous articles have emphasized dextral sense shear belt, this paper, using several indicators kinematic upon field checking microscopic thin-section studies, evidence development a sinistral top-to-the NW is presented. mean attitudes foliations lineations are 318°/55°NE 19°/113°, respectively.
