Autoimmune neutropenia and thrombocytopenia associated with development of antibodies to human immunodeficiency virus.

摘要: We report on two patients with acute human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, who developed an infectious mononucleosis-like clinical episode thrombocytopenia and granulocytopenia. In both cases we detected the presence of IgG antigranulocyte antibodies in one case IgG, IgM IgA antiplatelet antibodies. The mechanisms these cytopenias are discussed. association between such autoimmune HIV infection has not been previously reported. suggest testing for seroconversion a seronegative syndrome belonging to groups high risk infection.
