摘要: We have cloned the human gene encoding transcription factor T. T protein is vital for formation of posterior mesoderm and axial development in all vertebrates. Brachyury mutant mice, which lack protein, die utero with abnormal notochord, somites, allantois. identified genomic clones derived mRNA sequence structure. There 91% amino acid identity between mouse proteins overall complete across 77 acids T-box motif within DNA-binding domain. Human expression very similar to that found other vertebrate species confined cells from notochord. The maps chromosome 6q27 only second member family be described.
