Single versus double insemination: a retrospective audit of pregnancy rates with two treatment protocols in donor insemination

摘要: Our objective was to evaluate the effect of a change in treatment protocols, suggested following an inspection visit by regulatory authority, from single double inseminations during donor insemination cycles. We therefore conducted retrospective audit pregnancy rates reproductive medicine clinic major teaching hospital. All patients were treated for male factor infertility insemination, without ovulation induction with gonadotrophins between October 1992 and December 1995. The main outcome measures cumulative conception live birth rates. During study period 250 underwent 650 277 cycles undertaken. rate per cycle 0.054 0.119 respectively. After six 0.28 0.47 take-home baby 0.25 0.37 practice resulted doubling cycle. Cumulative after two comparable those achieved insemination. These results have significant implications both purchasers.
