摘要: Tributyltin (TBT) is organotin compound that toxic to aquatic life ranging from bacteria mammals. This study examined the concentration of TBT in sediment and near Mekong River distribution TBT-resistant bacteria. concentrations ranged <2.4 2.4 ng/g (dry wt) river <2.4-15 ng g-1 harbor sediment. Viable count total 2.0 × 104 1.4 107 cfu/g, counts <1.0 102 2.5 cfu/g. The estimated occurrence rate <0.01 34% was highest upstream sites Cambodia. occurrences were unrelated, chemicals other than might induce resistance. more abundant dry season rainy season. Differences selection process between seasons using an advection-diffusion model a suspended solid (SS) conveys chemicals. dilution-diffusion time over distance 120 km downstream release site 20 days during 5 season, suggesting at surface could be exposed SS for longer periods © 2007 Elsevier Ltd.
